Building the team
22 Feb 2022
The last couple of years have certainly been an interesting time for us all as we’ve adapted first to home working during the pandemic and now being back in the office more regularly.
During this time, and thanks to fantastic ongoing support from you, our Insurance and Financial Services practice has really grown and developed. We now have around 50 consultants, having brought in new team members across all levels in the last year.
We are well-known for our longevity expertise and are delighted that this has been enhanced with two additional senior consultants, Hande Love and Ben Johnson.
Our Investment and ALM capabilities have been bolstered by the recent recruitment of senior consultant Marc Storan to our team of experts, led by Dan Becker as Head of Investment & ALM and Kate Fry as our Insurance Investment Lead.
Nicola Kenyon is leading the charge on new developments – including climate risk, ESG and responsible investment – as Head of Insurance Innovation & Change.
Our Risk & Capital services are now headed up by Nick Ford, with Stephen Makin, our Head of UK Insurance & Financial Services, and Emma McWilliam leading in a global role which incorporates wider services internationally as well as a move into Property and Casualty consulting.
To take that forward, we’re very excited to have recently been joined by Richard Stock as Head of Property and Casualty and Richard sets out his exciting plans below.
“I’m really excited to join the IFS team at Hymans Robertson to help them continue to grow and expand their highly regarded support for insurance clients. I’m looking forward to working with such an experienced and successful team on this next phase of its development. Activity levels for actuarial and risk teams in the non-Life market are incredibly high, and I look forward to assisting clients wherever needed to help them tackle the latest issues and overcome any challenges they face.”
