In this update, we take a look at the latest changes to the buy-out, buy-in and longevity hedging market.

The total value of buy-out and buy-in deals struck in H2 2020 was around £18.8 billion (around £31.4 billion for the year to 31 December 2020). Forty-nine deals, covering liabilities worth around £110 billion, have been completed since 30 June 2009.
