Hymans Robertson, the leading pensions and risk consultancy, has promoted Mark Jaffray to be head of its defined contribution (DC) consultancy business.
Mark has 20 years’ experience of pensions and investment. He joined Hymans Robertson in 2005 and most recently has led the firm’s investment consultancy practice within DC. Prior to joining the firm Mark was Head of Investment Strategy at Clydesdale Bank.
Commenting on his appointment, Mark Jaffray, Partner and Head of DC Consulting at Hymans Robertson says:
“This is a time of great opportunity and change for workplace savings as we work to continue the success of auto-enrolment and embrace increasing choices members are being given at the point of retirement now that pension freedoms are in place.
“It’s vital that we continue to encourage pension saving throughout the working life and that our priority continues to be securing the best possible outcome for members. I’m thrilled to take over the leadership of this award winning team and strongly believe that we have the people, skills and culture to continue our success in these rapidly changing times.”
Mark takes over the role from Lee Hollingworth who decided he wanted to dedicate himself to developing new client solutions for Hymans Robertson’s wider business. He will now take an active role in shaping the firm’s diversification strategy.
