David is a partner and consulting actuary with over 15 years’ experience spanning our actuarial, insurance and investment solutions and covering a variety of projects, including strategic asset allocation, investment reviews, asset liability modelling, longevity risk and retail investment solutions.

David’s focus is now on the innovation of our analytics capabilities, and he leads the development of Hymans’ modelling solutions to assess, monitor and mitigate financial risks. These support our clients in a variety of contexts including long-term funding, retirement planning, and risk measurement and management. David also takes a wider model validation and advisory role for clients.

Most recently this has included combining Hymans’ rich economic data, longevity data, cashflow projection capabilities and knowledge of the financial services market to create modelling capabilities that provide outcomes-focused decision support.
