Murray is a Risk and Capital Consultant in Hymans Robertson’s UK Insurance & Financial Services practice. He advises a range of Life and Non-life insurance companies on business planning and strategy, risk management frameworks and governance, capital management (including standard formula, internal model development and validation) and independent reserving reviews. Prior to Hymans, he worked in consulting and the Big 4 for ten years and brings a range of technical and practical expertise to his clients.

Murray is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, he sits on the IFoA’s Data Science: Professionalism, Regulation and Ethics working party and has completed the IFoA’s certificate in Data Science.
