Our teams

Our multi-disciplinary digital and innovation teams are powered by around 250+ industry experts, working together to meet our client and business needs. 

Roles include analysts, developers, UX/UI designers, business analysts, dev ops engineers, data analysts and data engineers, quality analysts, infrastructure engineers, cyber security engineers and quality engineers as well as many others.

Many of our products depend on stochastic modelling and our team includes model developers, model quality analysts and actuaries.

Delivery leadership brings it all together, helping the teams bring strategy to life and stay focused on our agile principles and continuous improvement.

A core IT team underpins our digital capacity, providing the secure, resilient infrastructure and platforms that power our firm.

Whatever the role, we’re surrounded by talented technology and business experts who encourage us to develop our careers.

Special interest groups

We have several communities where we come together to innovate and share ideas. They’re made up of skilled experts and are a great way to learn from each other.  

We also have expert groups, where colleagues from different teams with a mix of skills come together to solve specific challenges. These groups help us embed leading-edge practices, like our award-winning approach to continuous integration and deployment, how we meet our industry’s tough security standards and our focus on user experience in product design.

Our technology stack

At Hymans we work on large scale, complex problems using the latest tools and cloud technologies. Our Infrastructure and Operations teams leverage industry leading technologies to support our business and our clients, whilst ensuring cyber security remains at the heart of everything we do. 

We use different languages and technologies including things like: 

C#, F#, R, T-SQL, Web API, Angular, Nx, Ngrx, Cosmos DB, SQL Server, Azure Storage, Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, M365, Powershell, Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Dynamics Online, DataVerse, Leading Security Platforms. 

We use Azure DevOps and Git for our source control, build and deployment pipelines.
