Spotlight: Insurer TCFD reporting and net zero targets

In our recent Risk Transfer report, we took an initial look at one of the challenges that trustees face when trying to compare insurers’ progress against their own targets to reach net zero emissions, as set out in their TCFD reporting.

In this report, we delve further into the other points of detail from insurers’ TCFD disclosures, such as – insurers’ transition plans and their metrics for measuring progress towards their target.
