LGPS Online Learning Academy

Launched in the summer of 2021, our online platform is designed to support the training needs of Pension Committees, Pension Boards and Fund Officers, and will supplement training plans for all LGPS funds. The learning plan consists of a series of short video presentations with supplemental learning materials and quizzes.

We recognise the challenge of covering extensive training at quarterly meetings, especially with time being so limited. That’s why we’ve developed an online learning plan to make it easier for your members to obtain the knowledge required, in a more efficient and engaging way.

Our online platform

Funds will receive regular progress reports, allowing them to easily evidence their members’ knowledge and skills. Funds can also record all training that has taken place on the Learning Academy platform. This cost effective training provides LGPS funds with the key information required and allows them to record and track all training progress for Committee, Boards and Officers.
