Overview
Andrew is a Senior Consultant in our Public Sector Governance, Administration and Projects (GAP) team. He has extensive experience of both working with and advising LGPS funds on governance and administration related topics.
Andrew is lead Consultant for our LGPS training support to funds and is also responsible for Hymans’ LGPS Online Learning Academy platform. Andrew also led our LGPS National Confidence Assessment and National Knowledge Assessment presenting the assessment results at national pension conferences.
Andrew supports LGPS funds with their overall governance structure, fund policies and procedures. He brings a particular focus on ‘Good Governance’ implementation at LGPS funds and alignment with TPR's General Code of Practice. He also specialises in supporting funds with pension tax calculations, collaborating with officers on administration strategies, employer engagement strategies.
