As of 31 March 2024, we estimate there are just under 5,000 DB pension schemes.
The 11 professional trustee firms we surveyed represent around 40% of these DB schemes. An additional 20 to 30 small and mid-tier firms are estimated to account for another 6% of DB schemes.
