Overview
Alan is a partner focusing on driving service improvement and innovation to meet the needs and requirements of our DB pension clients today and in the future.
He works closely with clients, our client facing teams and digital teams to identify solutions that combine to support a great client experience.
Alan is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, with over 19 years’ experience in the pensions industry and slightly beyond. The majority (14 years) were advising and winning pension scheme clients, including as a scheme actuary. This was followed with a couple of years in Hymans’ innovation hub looking at opportunities across insurance, pensions, health and social care, and individual wealth markets.
Outside of work Alan enjoys exercising, taking up running in 2020, as well as travelling to new, and old, places, and spending time with family, friends and his two dogs. He’s also trying to brush up on his Italian, his mother tongue.
