Overview
Ben is Head of Insurance Transfers and Regulated Roles in Hymans Robertson’s UK Insurance & Financial Services practice.
He has 15 years of experience within the life sector, including managing with-profits funds at a consolidator, as a regulator at the FCA and now advises our clients as a consultant. As the leader of our Insurance Transfers proposition, Ben supports clients with their Part VII Transfers, Schemes of Arrangement and Transfers of Engagement, which can be through the provision of consulting advice or as the Independent Expert or Independent Actuary.
He has a keen interest in with-profits, contributing to research, publishing papers, and presenting on the topic.
Ben is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA) and holds the Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA) designation.
