Overview
Krish joined Hymans Robertson to lead and develop the General Insurance offering within our Insurance and Financial Services practice.
The team advises general insurers on various aspects of their business including pricing and underwriting, performance monitoring, accumulation management, risk management, solvency capital, reserving and climate change. He can act as an Independent Expert and provide support on the regulated functions of Chief Actuary and Chief Risk Officer.
Prior to joining Hymans, Krish worked in reinsurance broking and at the Bank of England. In the early part of his career in reinsurance broking, Krish helped build the advisory side of both Benfield and Aon Re, where he served as Chief Actuary and co-head of Aon ReSolutions. He built a strong reputation as a trusted adviser to general insurers and arranged their reinsurance. From his time at the Bank of England, he developed an intimate knowledge of the insurance regulatory framework. His experience at the Bank and PRA included reviewing and approving Internal Models, authorising new insurers, developing and running the Insurance Stress Tests, and developing insurance policy post Brexit while engaging with the IAIS and other regulators internationally.
