Overview
Laura is a Partner and leads the governance consulting for DB private-sector clients. She is Chair of the Governance Committee overseeing Hymans' staff pension arrangements.
With her career in pensions spanning 25 years, Laura is a qualified actuary with significant experience of governance across DB and DC pensions.
As a client director and lead consultant, Laura leads overall services and projects for clients across trustee and corporate consulting.
In addition to being a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, Laura holds the PMI Award in Pension Trusteeship and the PMI Certificate in DC Governance. In 2019 she won the Actuarial Post's 'Pensions Actuary of the Year' category and in 2021 the Women in Pensions 'Role Model of the Year' award. Laura sat on the IFoA Council between 2018 and 2021.
