Laura is a Partner and a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries with over 20 years of pensions experience.
As a scheme actuary she is proficient in guiding clients on how to take an integrated approach to setting strategy, helping them identify long term funding objectives and allowing pension scheme risks to be quantified, monitored and managed in an effective and practical way. Laura has a wide range of pensions consulting experience working with schemes from £100m up to multi billion £ including regularly overseeing the delivery of complex projects, and providing advice on funding, actuarial factors, run-on and risk transfer solutions.
Laura is enthusiastic about providing clear, engaging client advice and leads the development of our scheme actuary consulting services for trustees. She is regular spokesperson on pension issues, a member of the Association of Consulting Actuaries and also heads up our actuarial consulting materials group, providing guidance, material and training to both clients and her colleagues on current and emerging issues.
