Overview
Lorna is a partner who joined Hymans Robertson in 1997 and built up over 15 years of experience as an actuary in public sector consulting, particularly advising LGPS funds on funding and risk issues.
She then moved her focus to business and people leadership, with roles in our digital team and then in our commercial group (including marketing and client data specialists).
She now combines this cross-business expertise with her passion for people development in her role heading up the implementation of our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy. She applies these skills within our sustainability and ethics areas, as well as being a non-executive member of our Partnership Council. Her greatest motivator is seeing others’ succeed and particularly enjoys mentoring some of our developing talent.
