Overview
Rona is a Partner and highly experienced DC adviser, specialising in all areas of DC including investment, governance, and member engagement. S
he has 37 years’ experience in the pensions industry, the last 19 of those with Hymans Robertson. She has won a number of industry accolades including a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Women in Pensions Awards 2023.
Rona is lead adviser to four ongoing trust-based arrangements, ranging in size from £100m to £1bn including Michelin and BNY. She also advises a small number of governance committees of GPP and master trust arrangements ranging from £70m to £700m including Virgin Media. She has also recently worked on an investment governance project for one of the UK’s largest master trusts. For the five years to March 2021, Rona chaired the Governance Committee of Hymans Robertson’s own staff pension plan.
Rona will bring gravitas, as well as a deep understanding of DC issues, to the Trustee. She has a reputation for challenging the status quo. You can be sure that Rona will have your members’ interests at the heart of all the advice she gives.
Rona is a regular contributor to the pensions press and presenter at DC related conferences. She engages actively with The Pensions Regulator and the DWP on topical DC issues and is currently Chair of the Working Party on the Security of DC Assets.
