Overview
Sanjay's key areas of focus are impact investing and stewardship. He supports trustees on how to effectively structure their impact investing within their asset portfolio, and to make more effective impact investing decisions.
He leads the Hymans Robertson Asset Manager Engagement Programme, a structured programme in which Hymans Robertson engages with asset managers on the effectiveness of their stewardship on behalf of clients.
He has also worked on climate scenario modelling, and has written on the value and benefit of narrative-driven climate scenario modelling.
Sanjay qualified as an actuary in 2007, and prior to his time at Hymans Robertson, he founded an organisation called SoGive where he set analytical methodology and served as CEO; SoGive performs modelling of non-financial impacts on topics such as climate change. He also experience in various roles relating to the life insurance sector.
