Alan is a partner and lead consultant in Hymans’ innovation hub, the Incubator, whose aim is to identify, test and implement new and innovative ideas to help provide better outcomes across Hymans’ clients and the lifetime savings market. Alan’s current focus is within health and longevity modelling, making use of Big Data and modern analysis techniques and technology, for innovative applications in insurance, pensions, health and social care, and individual wealth markets.

Alan is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, with over 14 years’ experience advising and collaborating with trustee and corporate clients, covering all aspects of strategy and risk management, as well as implementing more cost effective and efficient processes.

Outside of work Alan enjoys exercising, taking up running in 2020, as well as travelling to new, and old, places, and spending time with family and friends. He’s also taking Italian lessons to brush up on his mother tongue.
