Andrew Udale-Smith
Andrew is a Partner and Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. He has 35 years’ experience in the UK pensions industry, advising both trustees and companies on the design and funding of their pension arrangements.
Andrew joined the firm at the start of 2021 as part of its acquisition of Bath Actuarial Consulting, where in 9 years he grew from scratch a corporate consulting business with clients whose DB liabilities ranged from £200m to over £20bn in size.
He currently works with the sponsors of leading DB and DC pension funds in the retail, manufacturing, engineering and utilities sectors. Andrew brings a healthy blend of technical, communication and commercial skills to the corporate actuary role. Feedback from clients highlights his particular strength in enabling companies and trustees to speak the same language and so work together effectively, as well as his unwavering commitment to delivering what clients need.
